Welcome to Montville Township.

Montville offers a nice country atmosphere for its estimated 2,104 residents.  The township is located in the northeast part of Geauga County.  It is less than fifteen miles from Chardon and Middlefield and the eastern border touches the Ashtabula County line.  Altogether, Montville consists of approximately twenty-five square miles and 15,534 acres.

During the summer months, Pioneer Waterland brings many visitors to Montville.  It is a 75-acre wet and dry fun park.  For those wanting to see the stars, there is Observatory Park, which consists of 676 acres.  You can also bring your family to the park behind the community center.  It is a wonderful place to bring the kids for a day of recreation.
